Im going to guess that this “Crippling” came either from having a human father who taught her the ways of the humans the best he could, or from the seemingly never ending sorrow that his death at her hands… erm… Paws? that seems to drag her mood and spirit downwards. Also the scene with the dust looks amazing. brilliant job on the blending and shading, and the small sparkles of colour add a nice touch.
Love this page Jass. It looks like we will learn some backstory on Djeneba by visiting her past through subconscious vision. I love the dust/final panels. ^.^
Pocahontas is way way farrrr to be my favorite Disney, I didn’t like it to be honest, I don’t know why and I don’t remember this part.
My reference is more about the snake from “The Jungle Book” when he hypnotise Mowgli and when I smoked my first big weed. It’s always better to live something to explain it with voice or in a drawn. But this time it’s realy realy soft one for Djeneba. (For the moment.)

Hehe Thank Drakara! ^^
Man, Nago is a mysterious character, saving her, teaching her, and she travels all around the world because it is her home. Love the mysterious ones.
Hehe, you’ll maybe like her even more when we get far in the story ^^
